JULIA LYNX CONCERT at Communitea

Canmore’s own Julia Lynx, accompanied by guitarist Al Tinholt, will join Ashley Condon and Ian Sherwood — two well-known products of the Atlantic Canadian folk music scene — for a performance at the popular Canmore venue to mesh the unique yet similar folk stylings of each artist in a way that’s easy on the ears.
Lynx, who set out on her solo career in 2013 with the release of her debut album, Wild Patience, met up with Condon in a serendipitous encounter last year. The answer came easily to Lynx when Condon asked her to join their set for a few songs during their next visit to the Bow Valley.
“For me it’s a great opportunity to sing with such beautiful songwriters, so of course I said yes,” said Lynx.
